  the third years seems like a great leap for me. equipped with the solidfoundation i laid in the previous two years, i further participated in someimportant major-related contests, such as the outlook talent show held by cctv,the fifth cross-strait interpreting competition and national english abilitycompetition. through all these contests, i found myself much more confident inthe road ahead.

  next i’m going to give you some suggestions to help you manage your collegelife better.

  suggestion1: learn as much as possible.

  for most of us college can be an unforgettable period for us to learnsomething. some one once said that university is like a dye vat, which meansthat you may be easily influenced by others. if you want to learn something youwill be empaced by knowledge and wisdom; and if you don’t have the desire tolearn you will find you get nothing after 4 years’ college life.

  suggestion2: cultivate your potentials and interests.

  as we know, university is an integrated platform compared with high school.you do not need to bury your head in the books all day long. you need to

  conductyour self-cultivation and find where your interests lie in. for example, if youhave the talent for dancing, you can join in the dance association. just showit. life will be colorful if there is joy.

  suggestion3: always be optimistic and hopeful.

  everybody knows that college life is mostly determined by ourselves.sometimes you may find that teachers can’t instruct you in every aspects. so youmay easily come across difficulties with which you will get bored. but pleaseremember that life has its ups and downs, adversity is just part of our lives.be optimistic, you will always find your way out.

  Ladies and Gentlemen, good afternoon.

  I'm Xu Ruipeng, from Jinan Foreign Language School International Centre.

  Like my fellow recipients, I feel greatly honoured to receive the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award. I regard this as not only a milestone in my high school years, but also a confirmation of my abilities and past efforts. Indeed, I believe that all students have tried their best in these examinations. So, what exactly makes us stand out? My answer is, communication.

  So, what is communication then? According to my personal experiences, the term communication may be divided into three major sub-divisions, which are expression, discussion and evaluation. Even though these abilities will not only provide you with efficiency in daily studies and important examinations but also be beneficial to you in terms of social communication, I didn't recognise the significance of these until I studied the A-Level Information Technology course.

  I have a variety of interests. However, before I entered high school, I liked to describe myself as a 'sole worker' due to the fact that all of my interests such as playing the flute or playing chess would only require me to work independently and try to be an expert in these fields, rather than making use of the benefits of communication.

  Later on, during my studies, the need for high-quality expression lay before me when I began to show interest in reading and writing poetry. I was amazed by the beauty of language and fascinated by foreign literature. Fortunately, at the same time, I had the opportunity to be a member of Jinan Foreign Language School International Centre, studying Cambridge International A-Level courses and trying to maintain these interests. But only then did I find it challenging since A-Levels require a range of abilities such as comprehending and evaluating multiple case studies, expressing coherent arguments, managing time effectively, as well as being enthusiastic for the courses you selected. By the end of my first year in the centre, I had developed a thorough passion for data analysis. Hence, my desire to study information technology was enhanced.

  Frankly, there were times when I struggled in studying this subject as it contains the most up-to-date knowledge in relation to a wide range of subjects such as economics and sociology. It was obvious that one would find it impossible to acquire all the knowledge they needed to learn without group work and discussions. Hence our teacher divided topics into small tasks and assigned them to each student individually. Later on, students would be required to give presentations and discussions regarding their research based on the assigned tasks. The rest of the class would be asked to provide valuable evaluation in the form of feedback, which would be helpful for our communication skills as well as critical thinking. In this way, all students including me would benefit from group work and discussions. Therefore, my personal effort would not burst into bloom without communicating with other brilliant people in and outside of my class.

  Now, I would like to give my sincerest thanks to the Cambridge Assessment International Education for organising such a wonderful event, giving me the opportunity to receive this award and deliver a speech today. I would also like to thank all the teachers and people who gave me guidance and encouragement during my studies. I also want to share this happiness with my parents for their invaluable support throughout my high school life.

  二姨先是给我定了个目标:滑到大约四五米外的方向标那儿。二姨叮嘱我说:“那要一前一后的压游龙板,你不压它你怎么往前滑呢?”我试着做了一下,发现这是不太可能的事。我的脚好像有点不听使唤,踩也只能踩一两下,而且速度很慢,向前滑一会儿就要摔倒,还没有我的方法好。我经过一次又一次的摔倒,一次又一次地爬起来再继续滑,我终于学会操控好自己身体的`重心。我又开始努力回想起别人是怎么滑的:先往前用脚一撑,上板再一摇一晃地往前滑,一向前滑,前脚不动,后脚往后压,松开,再往前压。但我不能这样做,但从前看脚是一前一后地晃着。我也试着这样了一下,居然成功了。真是太不可思意了。我终于体会到了成功的感觉!有点像苦尽甘来的感觉,还有点高兴和激动。经过了这么多次的摔倒,我终于学会了滑游龙板。

  在英语课堂上,大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题,积极跟着老师读单词,读课文。其实这也制造了一种假象,学生认为自己常常被老师提问,认为自己能够回答老师的问题,于是认为自己的英语学得很不错,自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就少了。其实要学好英语,课上占40%,其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固,加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识,当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间,而不是每个学生私有的时间,所以不可能照顾到每个学生,不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的,有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象,很难忘记,但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识,要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫,不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢?学好英语,不外乎就是在听、说、读、写这些方面下功夫。

  首先说一下听,每个学生都有和书相配套的磁带,可是请各位家长检查一下自己的子女的英语磁带,有多少学生的磁带还是和刚发的时候一样的,根本就没有听过。光靠上课听一点点的磁带,学生的听力根本就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说,不能说英语就白学了。每上完一次课,我都叫学生回家要跟磁带读,可是有多少学生真地做到了呢?所读的知识已经学过了,跟录音机读应该是提高自己的听力和口语表达能力,要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音,从而使自己的听力和口语都提高一个层次。接下来是说,英语学了就是要说,要和别人交流。在课上我会用各种方法来刺激学生,激发他们说英语的积极性,大多数学生也确实做得很好。

  可是班级里人多,对每个人来说,说的机会就少。所以下课也要说,放学回家也要说。在学校,我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去,这样有更真实的情景,更能让学生有发挥的余地。

  在家里,希望家长也能鼓励学生说英语,也许你会说你自小学五年级全科目课件教案习题汇总语文数学英语己也听不懂,请不要这样想,其实学生需要是你的鼓励,你听了他们说的只要简单表扬一句,他们就会很满足了。有时候你们也可以不懂装懂,或者还可以让学生反过来教你,他们会觉得很自豪,因为自己所学得派上了用场。

  接下来是读。学英语要培养语感,也就是语言的感觉,如果有很好的语感,那么不管是说话,做题目,都很轻松,很简单了。那么语感怎么来呢?就是靠读出来的。一定要让学生养成每天读英语的习惯。如果你的子女还没有养成这样的学习习惯,请你一定要督促他,刚开始也许会比较难,时间久了,就会习惯成自然。就像早上起来要刷牙洗脸一样,要让他们把读英语当作每天必做的一件事。

  最后是写。五年级英语已经对学生有一定的书写要求。背单词是学英语的必经之路。单词往往背过就容易会忘记,所以要不断的背,不断的翻新,这是没有办法的。我要求学生在背单词的时候要边拼边写,嘴巴和手都要动起来,嘴上十遍不如手上一遍。还有句型,五年级所接触的句型都是很简单的日常用语。学生应该在课上领会句型的意思和运用方法。可后还需要通过多读课文,多练习才能巩固所学的句型。所以请各位家长不光要注重孩子背单词的情况,还要让他重视句子的重要性。总而言之,请各位家长多关注孩子们的英语学习,让孩子养成良

  2。每次检查孩子的回家作业是否完成,保证第二天能按时上交。检查时不要只问一下有没有做,也请你亲自看一看,家长还可以看看单词有没有抄错,题目有没有做错之类的。

  3。有时我会布置学生回去背诵英语单词,并且自己默写。这是家长可以在家帮助学生默写,你可以报中文,让他默英文。并签上你名字,因为有的学生让他默写一遍也就是抄写一遍交差,一点效果也没有。

  4。督促孩子预习,复习。这是一项很必要也很重要的任务。所以,家长的首要任务是及时督促孩子复习当天学习的内容,提前预习下一堂课的学习任务。主要形式就是跟录音机大声读英语单词、句子、对话、短文等。英语和母语不同,没有学习的氛围和坏境,必须曲不离口地反复诵读,才会记得牢。

  总而言之,家长的重视会让学生增加信心,提高学生的学习积极性。与其在期末时候看到大家都不愿意看到的不理想的分数,还不如在平时就多关心孩子的学习过程。还希望家校携手共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。我要讲的就是这些,谢谢大家。

  怎样帮助孩子学好英语呢?我们老师自然是最直接的知识传授者,有着不可推卸的责任。在此,我们只是真诚地希望我们的家长配合学校,配合我们老师,靠我们共同的努力来帮助孩子学好英语。很多家长已经非常支持我的工作,我真心的谢谢你们。用一句时髦的话说:我们要和孩子共同成长。

  我们要重视良好的学习习惯的培养

  (1)英语不是我们的母语,除了英语课没什么机会接触英语,没有很好的环境。在家里有必要让孩子多听听录音,多看看英语碟子,反反复复。 听说能力差,用英语进行交际的能力差,为此,家长一定要配合学校来要求孩子,要创造条件让孩子多听,多听纯正的录音,听几遍、跟着说。

  (2)让孩子大声说英语 家长要每天留出20分钟左右时间让孩子读读英语,背背英语,不管当天有无英语课,有无作业。我们要鼓励孩子大声地朗读、对话、问答,大声说,不害羞,上学期我听同事说她儿子以前英语学得不怎么样,到了初中以后,每天都坚持读,背英语半小时,从来不间断过,后来由他最吃力的一科转变成了他最棒的一科,总分是150分,高考他考了140多分。

  有些学生自控能力特差,注意力很不集中,很容易开小差,老师讲的知识根本没听,老师反反复复教课文,有些同学嘴里含了金子一样,根本不张嘴不读,所以效果也不太好。在家里不管你们多忙,请你们也抽出一点点时间督促一下孩子保质保量地完成英语作业,该读的读、该背的背,该默的默,该写的写、该记的记,及时巩固,养成良好的习惯。作业麻烦你们一定签上字,我们这样做的目的并不想增加你们的麻烦,而是在让你们随时了解你的小孩在学校上是否认真,认不认真翻翻孩子的书,练习册,本子,很容易就知道了。有些同学学习态度不端正,他们非常聪明,就是不认真,少数同学老爱欠交作业,老师吹好几遍不交,叫班干部盯住也不交。养成了爱欠交作业的坏习惯,就失去了很多巩固知识的机会,对今后的学习肯定是非常不利的。有了家长们的督促,也许他们欠交作业的可能性会少许多。翻翻书,书上白白的,看出听课肯定不认真,老师讲到重要的都会写出来,反复提醒他们记笔记,可有些同学不动笔偷懒,作业质量差,乱写,或者不写完,书上有的也懒得翻书,乱写一通。

  现在很多孩子生活太优越了,变得懒惰了,不好学了。在学校

  如果孩子没有好好学,课后又没有巩固,单词看不懂,句子也读不懂,笔试部分做不好,听力就更不用讲了,因为没有老本吃,对他们来说,英语都像陌生人一样。关靠我们老师的努力很难达到我们预期的目的。我非常想把我的学生个个都交好,但是我们感到我无法办到,课堂上我们无论多么努力,掌握了的同学很积极,恨不得每次都叫到他,不熟练的同学照样不管事。英语单词很容易忘记,所以要经常复习,我喜欢和学生聊天,了解情况,有些同学非常自信地告诉我英语不难,最好学了,她们在家做得非常棒,家长也非常用心。我们了解到凡是用心的家长,孩子大都表现都比较好。孩子一般还没有明确的学习目的,这时,父母亲对学习的态度,特别是行为,会极大地影响孩子。千万不能纵容自己的孩子第一次说:英语好难,我不喜欢英语,我不想学了,就任由他去。你让你的孩子知道,再困难也要攻下来,学习英语开始也许有些难度,次数多了就会容易了。 很多家长跟我说,他们不懂英语,我们知道,样样都懂的人并不多,但是我们可以创造条件买点学习工具,点读机,录音机,光碟等等,现在条件这么好。单词可以根据孩子的实际情况,基础好的可以每天多记几个,懂读,懂写,知道意思。当天完成了,复习前面的,否则记住了后面,忘记了前面的。对于基础稍微差一点点的一天记三五个。假如实在记单词有难度的就让他们认,看到英语就知道什么意思,盖住汉语意思,让他边读,边说中文,或者打乱来抄下英语写出中文意思。

  孩子是每个家庭的重心和希望,有一位家长说过:“要把培养孩子当作自己的事业来做。”孩子是非常有良心的,只要你多投入一点,相信你的孩子会给予你更多的回报,孩子会更出色。。孩子不能完全放手交给老师,在家用心管和不管区别是非常大的。

  这点我深有体会。下面我来谈谈我和我儿子一起成长的过程。和家长们一起分享一下。我儿子刚满八岁,我非常喜欢两本育儿书,一本是好妈妈胜过好老师,另一本是卡尔教育。有空找来看看,相信一定会有收获,我非常感谢它们。由于我自己比较喜欢看书,从小我比较注重培养他看书的能力,小时给他讲,和他一起看,所以不知不觉让他养成了喜欢看书的`习惯,在幼儿园时就认识很多很多字,现在小本的,大本的,有图无图的,他有时间都看,一年级开学时按学校建议买了七本书,他没过一个月就看完了,大头儿子小头爸爸几百页两三天就看完了。大本大本的哈利波特我看着头痛,他却看过不停。多看书很有好处,理解能力比较好,词汇丰富。学习不让我太伤脑筋。在他没上小学时,我常用真钱和他玩买卖东西的游戏,到超市买东西时让他算钱,多练习,他的计算能力不知不觉提高了,玩积木时教了点角,边,怎么数有几个积木,数学老师说他空间想象力好,他喜欢吃月饼,买月饼时教他一个五元,两个多少,三个,四个,他不知不觉乘法记住了好多,现在到他学乘法时,他学得很轻松而且他也很自信,他觉得他数学棒。英语他感兴趣,喜欢看英语影碟,上英语课非常能干,非常自信。我无意之中有了很大收获。

  现在孩子普遍缺乏吃苦,缺乏锻炼的机会,所以在学习上也表现出来了,太懒,怕吃苦。我儿子体质差,老爱喉咙发炎,药吃得不像话,今年暑假开始送他学跆拳道,我常在那观看,确实有点心疼,

  我不断地鼓励,表扬,他咬咬牙坚持下来了,以前一看到我下楼不骑车他就有意见,现在改变非常大。他有一次说人可以活几百岁,我跟他说很少有人活一百多,一般活过七八十岁,过好每一天,做好该做的事就好了。他接上一句,趁着这几十年我要为妈妈多做事,从那以后,他真的就像他说的,我拿的东西他基本上抢着拿完,我空手。电瓶车没电不是我推他,而是他推我。我经常让他知道我有他这样的儿子很高兴,抓住机会就夸夸他,常常与他的老师联系。

  孩子是我们自己的,羡慕别人的孩子没有用,时刻关注,多表扬多鼓励,和自己的孩子一起成长,相信孩子会有更好的表现来报答我们。

  叮叮叮!叮叮叮!语文课的铃声响起了,同学们个个怀着紧张的.心情走了进来,班长邵雨杰带着我们背完古诗就开始了。以前上课以为时间过得很慢,但今天对我而言,一转眼就已经到我了。我的同桌崔嘉兴刚讲完我就上去了,可是老天好像把我当猴耍似的,眼保健操就开始了,老师就让我们先下去,等下节课再上去演讲。下课了,我去问站我后面的张子恒他紧不紧张,他倒高兴的说不紧张,我在心里想不紧张才怪呢!我祈祷着慢点上课,可是事情毕竟没有那么顺利。时间依旧过得很快。上课了,胡老师让下面的人继续。于是我胆战心惊的上台了,我一开始准备好的台词都忘记了,我紧张的拽着衣服的一角,尽量提高自己的声音。我的演讲内容是不要吃龙虾。根据科学家做实验发现一只龙虾放进一盆热水中,给它浸泡上一小时再次察看发现盆里有二十几条寄生虫,所以我提议大家少吃龙虾。刚一说完我就急急忙忙的跑下台去了,张子怡开始演讲了。一开始说不要紧张的,演讲起来比谁都紧张。又过了二十几分钟,全班都讲完了,胡老师记了一些演讲好的同学名字,我记得的有,朱子晗,马紫焱,洪露,王慧敏,林思彤,邵雨杰,苏美琪,王謦怡等人。

  通过这一次上台演讲,我明白勇者无畏。

  后来上去了许多许多同学,讲的故事有快乐的,有悲伤的,就这样我们在不知不觉中下课了。啊!我从中知道了要勇于去实践,这样你就可以变得更优秀。

  星期五终于到了,演讲比赛马上就要开始。首先,我把自己打扮得漂漂亮亮,穿好最喜欢的衣服,化了一个淡雅的妆,还扎了个漂亮的头发,就开始等候。我排在第六位,在听第一位演讲的时候,我们家的网突然不好用了,什么也听不见了,只好一个个的换手机。我刚想再练一下稿子就被打断了,我于是一边想事情一边在心里练习,弄得有些手忙脚乱。就在这时,妈妈说:对了,你的'音乐怎么办呀?我们换了很多手机,因为没有音乐软件,还是不行。在不知不觉中,就轮到我了。我刚开始说了不到两句就有点发懵,而且非常紧张,手心上全是汗,头上也全是汗。这时,我只好把心冷静下来。叮咚!哦,我想起来了后来,我就说得越来越流利,直到我把稿子说完。

  到了投票的时候,我发现于老师还给我投了一票呢!我发现演讲还是很难的,既要有感情,还要让自己不紧张,心态要很稳定。以后我要多参加老师组织的活动,多多练习自己。
