someday and one of these days are losing their grip on my vocabulary. if its worth seeing or hearing or doing, i want to see and hear and do it now. im not sure what my sister wouldve done had she know that she wouldnt be here for the tomorrow we all take for granted.
i think she would have called family members and a few close friends. she might have called a few former friends to apologize, and mend fences for past squabbles. i like to think she would have gone out for a chinese dinner, her favorite food. im guessing. ill never know.
its those little things left undone that would make me angry if i knew that my hours were limited. angry because i put off seeing good friends whom i was going to get in touch with someday. angry because i hadnt written certain letters that i intended to write one of these days. angry and sorry that i didnt tell my husband and daughter often enough how much i truly love them.

学校有一个非常优秀的英语组，连续两年被评为长沙市优秀英语组。学校从一年级开始开设英语课程，并在原有基础上每星期加了一个课时，体现学校对于英语这门学科的重视，并，将英语纳入科大附小的特色教学。作为英语教师，我将尽职尽责，通过丰富多彩，形式多样的教学活动等培养孩子们的学习兴趣，并帮助其养成良好的学习习惯。
首先，我来介绍下我们所学习的教材特点，方便您更好的对孩子进行课外辅导。
英语教材并不是像语文，数学那样，有统一的版本，目前就长沙市而言，不同学校选择的教材不一样，我们选用的是由人民教育出版社出版，新起点英语。其中，第一册，也就是本学期学习内容包括六个话题：第一单元的话题是“学校”，第二单元是“身体部分”，第三单元是“动物”，依次类推，共六个话题。每个话题都包含三项学习内容：一项是语音;一项是词汇;一项内容是交际用语。比如，“学校”这个单元，就会有，与“学校”相关的词汇，与“学校”相关的一些句子。学生在学完第一单元后，能听，说，读，背“学校”相关的词句。并且，发音准确，语调自然，表达流畅。
相比较母语而言，英语的学习，没有语言环境，我觉得英语这门学科需要家长更多的关注和投入。
一.什么是“听说读写”
在英语学习中，我们经常讲到“听说读写”，这也是学生需要达到的基本要求。那么，究竟什么是听，什么是说，什么是读，该怎样听，怎样说，怎样读?接下来，我用“一个苹果”来举例，介绍家长在家应该怎样对孩子进行督促和辅导。

一年级主要以“听说读”作业为主，每次作业的具体要求，请家长要看清楚，督促孩子逐项完成作业。按照这样的方法，一天一天的坚持下来，会逐渐让孩子养成良好的听读习惯。
二.希望家长配合的一些方面
1.准备一个复读机，点读机，或者录音机。每次作业听说读15分钟左右。在听说读时，孩子一定要“指读”，孩子要把手拿出来指着所听读内容。同时，眼睛要看着，心里一边记忆，做到“手到，心到，口到”。这样的作业才有质量。不要出现，做作业的时候，孩子东张西望，注意力不集中的情况。
2.认真检查孩子的作业，逐项的检查完成情况，然后签字。签字前，可以问问孩子，这个单词怎么读?这个句子你能说一说吗?
英语对孩子来说是一门全新的语言，因为缺少语言的环境，学起来有难度，请家长多多鼓励孩子，有辅导能力的家长课后有必要对孩子进行辅导，没有辅导能力的家长请监督孩子的学习，你可以要孩子当你的小老师，或者问一问他在学校学到了什么?另外，建议使用点读机，效果比磁带好。(购买点读机时，请带好教材)
说了很多，家长们可能觉得英语学习是一件繁琐的事情，那是因为英语毕竟不是我们的母语，这门学科没有语言环境，课堂上的40分钟的学习是有限的，所以需要依靠课后来巩固知识。这样才能把英语学好。
三.可能出现的一些问题
1.有的孩子相对性格比较内向，不太爱表达，在说读英语时，声音很小。作为家长一定要鼓励他大声，吐字清晰。
2.有的孩子，从前没有接触过英语，在前1-2周仍比较懵懂，请家长不要着急，多和我沟通，按我的要求督促他的学习，一定没有问题的。有的孩子，在幼儿园学过英语，可能觉得一开始某些知识都学过了，作为家长，你可以在家对其进行拔高要求。但是，一定是在完成课内知识的基础之上，学习一些课外知识。
3.英语的学习是靠一天一天的`坚持，一点一滴的累积。需要考验的不仅是孩子的毅力和耐心，同时考验的也是家长。所以，在此我呼吁，请你做一个有恒心，有耐心，有毅力的家长。你的付出一定有回报，你的严格要求一定收获的是喜悦。

可能很多家长都有这样的疑惑，年级越高，孩子的英语考试分数越低。这是个普遍的现象，低年级孩子能够背诵课文并默写出单词句型，就能考高分，而高年级的英语学习，以理解、运用为重，知识难度增加，书本只是媒介，是知识的载体，学生的英语思维也是从这阶段开始处于萌芽状态，所以，这阶段的学生的学习将有可能关系到他们将来的学习，没有好的基础，英语学习前景确实不容乐观。
全国优秀教师王金战老师总结的教育经验里有一条是这样说着，“影响学生成绩的主要因素不是学校，而是家庭。如果家庭教育出了问题，孩子在学校就可能过的比较辛苦，孩子很可能会成为学校的问题儿童”。家长在孩子身上付出了多少，就会有多少回报。所以，我建议：各位家长平时应该多了解和关心孩子的作业和学习情况，督促孩子认真完成作业。
那么，怎样才能帮助孩子提高学习成绩呢？我建议从以下几方面帮助孩子：
1、看孩子的抄题本，了解当天的作业是什么。（一周四节英语课）。
2、多听录音，多跟读磁带。几乎每次大型的考试都带有听力题。但每次听力是学生的一个薄弱点。多听的好处：一是能够给孩子教读单词的发音，二是纠正孩子的发音，三，能帮助孩子记忆背诵课文。对家长要求：督促孩子每天所学课文最少听三遍以上，家长一定要检查落实这项工作，别的孩子都做了，你的孩子没做，这就形成了差距。
3、口头背诵作业。这是经常布置的，也是比较重要的一项作业。需要背诵的课文，家长一定要检查孩子的`背诵，并签字，看他背得熟不熟。
4、检查作业本上作业，请家长在作业本上签字。签字的目的不是为了签字而签字，而是检查学生作业的质量。可能部分家长认为自己看不懂英语，没关系，你可以从他的作业的书写看出他对学习的态度，他是否认真做了，家长一旦发现作业的质量不高，一定要让他重新做好。

6、及时复习所学的单词和句子，以及课文。单词就复习单词表，（书页码），句子（书页码），课文就复习读背所要求背诵的课文。
7、配合孩子学习的方法，向孩子学习，拜他为师，会极大地提高孩子的学习兴趣和认真学习的程度。同爸爸妈妈一道学，教爸爸妈妈学英语，会使孩子们很高兴，很自豪的向爸爸妈妈讲述所学内容，起到复习巩固的作用。另外，孩子没记下或者没考好，必要的批评是应该的，但一味的责怪甚至打骂是不起作用的。
8、适当给孩子一些压力。
家长可适当给孩子布置一点口头或笔头的作业，给孩子一些适当的负担，帮助学生练习所学知识，这样的坚持同样也能取得一定的效果。熟能生巧，尤其对小学生来说效果是很明显的。

通过这半个多学期的观察，我发觉有些孩子在英语课堂上学得很好，老师教的`一般都会读，但第二天的反馈却比较差。一年级学生的学习能力、接受新知识的能力比较强，但遗忘能力也十分强，如果当天晚上不进行复习的话，第二天往往会把前一天学习的内容忘记。所以为了让您的孩子英语学习有连续性，在课外，我希望家长能够多关心孩子的英语学习状况，并提以下几点建议：
1、帮助孩子养成听英语习惯。
（1）每天安排一个固定的时间（10分钟左右）督促孩子听英语。如每天固定在晚上7：00听英语，则每天一到这个时间就帮助孩子准备好，让孩子养成习惯。听英语时，能听一句跟着说一句，并对比自己的发音，尽量模仿，自己纠正。
（2）帮助孩子完成听说英语作业。因为我们是从口语开始训练，所以一年级的英语作业大多是听和说。让孩子看着英语单词卡片说一说，或边做动作边说等等。并建议家长让孩子看着英语书汇总表让孩子读一读上面的单词。
2、帮助孩子养成用英语的习惯。
我们的英语教学不从abc字母开始，而从英语口语开始，一方面是遵从学习规律；另一方面是为了孩子应用的需要。我希望您能多问问孩子“今天英语学到了什么”，孩子学到的儿歌，歌曲等可以鼓励他表演给别人看。有条件的还可以用学到的与孩子对话。总之，鼓励孩子把学到的在家里用起来。
