　　My hometown is in the north of China. In my hometown, there are four seasons each year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

　　In spring, there are many beautiful flowers everywhere. Leaves and grass turn green. Birds begin to sing. It's very warm. People like to go out to fly kites and have picnics.

　　In summer the weather is very hot. The sky is very bright. Lots of people go swimming in the sea or rivers. Days are longer and nights are shorter.

　　In autumn the weather becomes cooler day by day. Many leaves and grass turn yellow. It is the harvest time of the year for farmers.

　　Winter comes after autumn. It gets colder and colder, and there is often much snow. People must wear thick clothes.
