一、本科生：
因为伯克利分校是公立大学，资金本来就有限，所以学校几乎没有奖学金提供给本科留学生，打工的机会也很少。但很多校外机构却是提供各种奖学金，面向所有的美国大学的本科生，当然也包括伯克利分校，以下站点可以帮助本科生寻找适合自己的校外奖学金项目：BrainTrack、Cal Alumni Association、College Board Scholarship Search、College Scholarships.org、The SAGE Scholars Program、Scholarship Connection。
二、研究生：
虽然学校的奖学金项目繁多，但金额有限，故极具竞争力，学生需要具备优秀的学业成绩。所获得的奖学金可以为学生在校所需的学费，以及生活费提供保障。通常申请奖学金，是需要所在的系或部门进行推荐。
