丹佛美国科罗拉多州立大学景观设计研究生课程设置偏重景观设计、建筑设计、城市设计等的历史理论与设计技能的培养，开设了邻里社区设计、城市开放空间设计、场地设计、城市设计、区域规划设计等一系列设计课程，着重培养学生的设计能力。同时开设生态系统、城市与区域扩张、土地利用、房地产经济和发展、环境影响评价、规划和发展过程等景观设计与管理方面的课程。另外也开设了计算机辅助设计等培养学生设计技能方面的课程。
课程
课程分为核心课程和选修课。核心课程包括六个组成部分：设计课，36学时；历史与理论，12学时包括3学时的选修；景观设计技术课，14学时包括3学时选修；植物课，六学时；媒介，4学时；职业实习，3学时，总计75学时。其余学期作为附加选修课学时。
