当代文学家巴金原名李芾甘，生在四川成都的一个封建大家庭里。父亲做过四川广元县的县官，祖父是这个大家庭的专制家长。封建家庭的丑恶、腐败，社会现状的黑暗、腐朽，给幼小的巴金以深刻的印象。
