英文介绍中国节日的演讲稿 篇1

  Dear teachers and students:

During the Warring States period, Chu and Qin Dynasties competed for hegemony, and the poet Qu Yuan was highly valued by King Huai of Chu. However, Qu Yuans proposition was opposed by the conservative school headed by the Shangguan doctor Jin Shang. He constantly slandered Qu Yuan in front of King Huai of Chu, which made king Huai gradually alienate Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan, who had lofty ambitions, felt sad. With uncontrollable melancholy, grief and anger, he wrote immortal poems such as Lisao and Tianwen.

In xx years before Gongwu, the state of Qin captured eight cities of the state of Chu, and then sent envoys to invite King Huai of Chu to negotiate peace with the state of Qin. Qu Yuan saw through the plot of King Qin and risked his life to enter the palace to state his interests. King Huai of Chu not only didnt listen, but expelled Qu Yuan from Yingdu. King Huai of Chu attended the meeting as scheduled and was imprisoned as soon as he arrived in the state of Qin. King Huai of Chu regretted and became ill with melancholy. He died in the state of Qin three years later.

The fifth day of the fifth lunar month is Chinas traditional Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Dragon Boat Festival, Double Ninth Festival and Dragon Boat Festival. As early as the Zhou Dynasty, there was the custom of "storing orchids and bathing on May 5". However, many activities of todays Dragon Boat Festival are related to the commemoration of Qu Yuan, a great Chinese writer.

Qu Yuan has passed away for more than 2000 years. Today we come to commemorate him, mainly to learn from his spirit of loving the motherland and the people, adhering to the truth, preferring death to surrender and his personality of "competing with the sun and the moon". Qu Yuans spirit is immortal. No matter how time changes, he will always live in the long river of years and always remember it in peoples hearts!

Lets look at every traditional Chinese festival with respect and cherish for the great patriots! Each traditional festival has rich cultural connotation and retains the unique cultural memory of the Chinese nation.

This is the end of my speech. Thank you for listening!

So moon cake is themost representative thing in the Mid Autumn Festival, and it is also aninevitable channel for us to contact our relatives and friends. In this midautumn festival, let's taste delicious food with our family and enjoy the beautyand comfort of the full moon!

There are many theories about the origin of moon cakes. What I know is thatthe reason why moon cakes are round is that people have been longing for andpursuing the word reunion since ancient times. A small moon cake not onlyreposes people's wish for family reunion, but also reposes a kind of goodwishes. Whether you are in a foreign land or close to you, taste a moon cake andlook at the moon in the sky, as if you can feel the blessing from yourrelatives. Therefore, in the Mid Autumn Festival, moon cake is not only a dishfull of missing, but also a good medicine to give people comfort.

For the Mid Autumn Festival, I think everyone knows that this is a cultureof our Chinese nation. In these two weeks,I have collected information on many traditional Chinese cultures. There are couplets,12 zodiac signs,paper-cut and Chinese traditional festival pictures and words.Among them,I like the traditional festivals best because I am very interested in traditional festivals.

In the traditional festivals that I am interested in,I like Spring Festival most, because it is the most solemn traditional festival of Chinese folk.On the first day of the first lunar month,it is also called "the lunar year",commonly known as "New Year" and "New Year".Every year, the streets are hung with red lanterns and colorful flags.Mom made a big dinner. From time to time there was a crackle of "crackle".Every little friend put on a beautiful new dress and the grown-ups smiled happily. My father bought me many flowers and firecrackers. In the evening,I took out the flowers and went out with the children. We had a great time.At the beginning of the Spring Festival party,I was reluctant to go home, eat fruit with my family, watch the party, and the wonderful program made us laugh.

I also like the double ninth festival. The ninth day of the ninth lunar month is an ancient Chinese holiday. The double ninth festival is also called "old day".The day after school,my parents and I prepared a gift to see grandpa,I was very happy.Because I know that respecting the old is the traditional virtue of our Chinese nation.

英文介绍中国节日的演讲稿 篇5

  Dear teachers and classmates

Good morning everyone! The topic of today's speech is "The Moon Meets Mid-Autumn Festival".

With a full moon and a round person, another Mid-Autumn Festival is coming! This year, September 10 is the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar. It is a traditional Chinese festival - Mid-Autumn Festival! It is the second largest traditional festival after the Spring Festival and is also considered a reunion festival for us Chinese people. On this day, many wanderers far away from their hometown will rush home to reunite with their parents, relatives, and friends, and spend a wonderful time together. Now, I want to ask you: Do you know the origin of Mid-Autumn Festival?

The term "Mid Autumn Festival" first appeared in the Zhou Dynasty and its popularity began in the Song Dynasty. Why is it called "Mid-Autumn Festival"? Because the third autumn falls on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar every year, the Mid-Autumn Festival has many other names: August Festival, August Half, Mid-Autumn Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and so on. Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival. In the past, during the harvest season, people always celebrated major events, celebrated a good harvest of the year, and enjoyed a bountiful harvest. During the Mid Autumn Festival, there are many clouds, thin mist, and bright moonlight. In addition to a series of activities such as appreciating the moon, offering sacrifices to the moon, eating mooncakes, and making wishes for reunion, some places also hold grass dragon dances and tower building activities. In addition, there are many beautiful legends about the Mid-Autumn Festival, such as Chang'e flying to the moon, Wu Gang folding laurels, Yutu practicing medicine, etc. These all embody people's infinite love for life and their longing for a better future.

The moon of Mid-Autumn Festival is the roundest, brightest and most beautiful! Although Mid-Autumn Festival is a day of reunion, many people can't get together with their family and friends for various reasons, so they put their feelings on the bright moon and wrote numerous popular sayings. Finally, I sincerely wish each of our students and teachers a happy Mid-Autumn Festival and all the best!

hello everyone, today i want to say something about chinese traditional culture .our chinese nation, with its industriousness and wisdom, has created a long and

  over-lasting history and a rich and colorful culture.as a chinese,we are supposed

to understand the traditional culture and realize its importance.first, what’s the traditional chinese culture .traditional chinese culture

includes material and moral products of ancient chinese people. the moral products

involve confucianism, taoism, legalism, buddhism and social system. material ones

include historic and cultural relics, ancient architectures etc.no matter how broad

chinese culture is, the core of it is the moral. therefore.we can get an answer to another question.why should we learn chinese

traditional culture,or we can say what’s the value of chinese traditional culture.as the core of chinese traditional culture is the moral, it can help us solve three major problems we are facing nowadays:problems of survival between man and nature;crisis of confidence between man and society;psychological problems exist in people ourselves. for example, confucius believed that persuit of fortune is a general desire of human, but it most be limited by morality. people live for morality but not for fortune,

and only in this way does life have value. if all the people in the society can realize

this ,horse storm would not appear.
