While Wageningen University is the top-ranked university for agriculture & forestry for a third year in a row, the University of Reading deserves a special mention for climbing four places to sixth this year.
These universities are two of seven European institutions in the top 20, one fewer than the number of American universities. The other five schools in the top 20 are from Canada (University of British Columbia, University of Guelph), Japan (University of Tokyo), China (China Agricultural University) and Australia (Australian National University).
