Main Library (Kaisa House):Helsinki University Main Library contains the printed and electronic data collections of the City Centre Campus Faculties of Arts, Law, Theology, Behavioural and Social Sciences. The American Resource Center and Kirja & Kahvi operates on the second floor of the Main library.The Main Library is located on Fabianinkatu in Kaisaniemi in the building known as Kaisa House. The customer service in the Main Library is located on the entrance level of Kaisa House (3rd floor). There is a direct access from the Library to Learning Centre Aleksandria.

The Finnish Museum of Natural History is an independent research institution functioning under the University of Helsinki. It is also one of the three central national museums in Finland and responsible for the national collections in its field. The collections, which include botanical, zoological, geological and paleontological specimens from all over the world, serve research in the fields of biology and geology as well as educational purposes.

赫尔辛基大学著名校友:塔里娅·哈洛宁，前任芬兰总统。女，1943年生。法学硕士，社民党人，议员。1970年起任芬工会中央联盟法律事务顾问，1974至75年任总理秘书，1977至96年任赫尔辛基市议会议员。1979年当选国会议员，曾任议会社会事务委员会主席和大委员会主席。1987至90年任社会卫生部长，1990至91年任司法部长。1995年4月出任外长，2000年1月当选总统，3月就任。70年代曾来华旅游。1995年9月率团参加北京世妇会，1996年4月陪同芬总统访华。1997年出席香港回归仪式。1998年9月应邀正式访华。爱好绘画。有一个孩子。
