Admission Guide for International Students (Graduate, Spring 2017)
A. General Eligibility(Applicants must satisfy one of the following conditions.)
① Applicants who have level 3 or higher in TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean)
② Applicants who graduated from Korean universities
③ Applicants who have obtained TOEFL PBT 530, CBT 197, IBT 71, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600, or an equivalent score. (This condition is not applied to the departments of Korean Language & Literature and Japanese Language & Literature.)
④ Applicants who submitted proof of their language proficiency
Ex)Introduction document(letter) about medium language of degree course instruction from the university, University transcript(It applies to applicants who graduated from university in English-speaking countries.), etc.
※ Department of Tourism Management: Applicants who have level 4 or higher in TOPIK
B. Master’s Course
① Foreign nationals whose parents have foreign nationalities and who have completed and earn a bachelor's degree or who are expected to earn the degree by the end of February, 2017.
② Overseas Korean nationals who have completed elementary, middle, and highschool education in overseas that are equivalent to those of Korean education and who have earned a bachelor's degree or who are expected to earn the degree by the end of February, 2017.
※ Department of Nursing: Applicants should be a registered nurse.
C. Doctoral Course
① Foreign nationals whose parents have foreign nationalities and who have completed and earn a master's degree or who are expected to earn the degree by the end of February, 2017.
② Overseas Korean nationals who have completed elementary, middle, and highschool education in overseas that are equivalent to those of Korean education and who have earned a master's degree or who are expected to earn the degree by the end of February, 2017.
※ Department of Nursing: Applicants should be a registered nurse.
D. Integrated Master’s & Doctoral Course:
Eligibility is same as that of Master course, but applicants are required to have an average grade of 85/100 or higher(2.55/4.0, 2.90/4.3, 3.10/4.5) in their Bachelor's degree course.
(For those who transferred, their grades obtained only after the transfer are applied.)
*In case of Taiwanese nationals, if one of their parents has Taiwanese nationality and the other has Korean nationality, he/she is eligible for the application.
