Minimum B average (many programs require a higher average);
You must meet English language proficiency requirements.

The following represents the minimum academic credential required for admission consideration. Attainment of the minimum credential does not guarantee admission because additional factors, including academic standing, program choice, program prerequisites and English language proficiency are also part of the admission decision.

Requests for exemptions will be considered for entry to undergraduate studies using the following guidelines:
At the time of application you must have completed a minimum three years of full-time study where the primary language of instruction and evaluation was English with acceptable grades in English and a good selection of humanities/social science secondary school courses. The three years cannot include any ESL study.
Submit a hand-written letter requesting exemption explaining why you believe you warrant an exemption.
Submit documents necessary to support your request, including complete academic transcripts (these can be unofficial).
The Admissions director will review your request and provide a final decision. If denied an exemption, you will be required to submit a test result before an admissions decision can be made.
International University transfer student
General admission requirements
Admission consideration is primarily based on your most recent studies. However, we will review your overall academic record.
Applicants who have completed a minimum of one full-time semester of university study and have an overall average of 60% (1.70 GPA on a scale of 4.0) are eligible for consideration. You must also be eligible to re-register at your previous institution.
Some programs require higher admission averages. Therefore, admission is not guaranteed with the minimum requirements.
Course prerequisites must be met at the senior secondary school level or completed as equivalent courses from degree, diploma or certificate programs. Brock University will make any final determination as to the equivalency of courses.
