International Tuition and Fees
All admitted international students requiring an F-1 student visa must submit financial documents issued within the past six months to provide evidence of funding for a minimum of one academic year.
Admitted students must submit the San Diego State University Financial Statement Form and supporting financial documents. Submit your completed financial documents by email to [email protected] or by mail to:

International students with other visa categories, permanent residency, or U.S. citizenship are not required to submit financial documentation.
Important: Admission to SDSU is not related to your financial documentation. However, an I-20 will only be issued once your financial documents are approved by the SDSU Office of Admissions.
Supporting documents can be one, or a combination of, the following:
Student’s personal funds
Funds from parent, relative, or private sponsor
Government sponsor
Athletic scholarship
Graduate assistantship
