Tuition fees for international students (non-EU)
Tuition fees 2016/17
Tuition fees vary depending on whether your course is laboratory or classroom-based. If your course is taught across two departments you must pay the higher fee.

Year abroad and work placements
If you go on a full-year work placement in the UK or a study abroad exchange your tuition fee for that year will be equivalent to 15% of the full-time fee.
Paying your fees
You can pay your fees in instalments. There are three instalments dates, one per term (usually in October, January and April).
Funding
York Scholarships
Fee reductions of 25% for each successful year of study are available based an academic merit and financial need.
External funding
There are also a number of external organisations that provide funding for international students to study in the UK.
