2015-16 Tuition Fees
FEES FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
EU and non-EU citizens who have filed tax returns in their country will pay the following tuition fees:
€600 for students from developing countries
€1200 for all other students
Exchange Student Housing
If you are an exchange student and will be attending Sapienza University in Rome, you can take advantage of a special housing programme reserved for exchange students.
The service is provided by the CTS – Student Tourist Center. Whether you are looking for a single room or a double room to share with other students, CTS can help you find the lodging you are looking for!

CTS will get in touch with you to start your house search!
Once your housing contract has been officially signed, CTS will assist you throughout the lease with any issues you may encounter.
The cost of the CTS service is €80 + VAT. You will only be charged if you accept the housing found for you.
Private Housing
Prices for a private room in a shared apartment range from € 350.00 to € 550.00 (or higher) per month. Please note you will also be required to pay a deposit of one to three months’ rent when you sign the contract. Always ask for a signed receipt of payment.
Public Transport
Tickets and Passes
Tickets can be purchased at most newsagents and coffee shops and at vending machines at bus stops and underground stations around the city.
Different kinds of tickets are available:
BIT (SINGLE RIDE - € 1.50) - Valid for 100 minutes from initial validation on buses (including Cotral buses within the city), trams, regional trains within the City (2nd class) and subway (without exiting turnstiles).
BIG (DAILY - € 6)
BTI (3 DAY - € 16.50)
CIS (WEEKLY - € 24)
Monthly Pass €35
Annual Pass €250
