Master's level requirements
In order to be offered a place in master's (second cycle or graduate) courses and programmes taught in English, you must first meet certain general and specific entry requirements.
General entry requirements
To meet the entry requirements for master's level (second cycle or graduate) studies, you must:
-have been awarded a Bachelor's degree (equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen) from an internationally recognised university.
-be able to demonstrate proficiency in English by means of aninternationally recognised test, e. g. TOEFL, IELTS or the equivalent. Check the website of the university where you would like to study for more information about language requirements as they determine what level is required for each course and programme at this level.
Some students with previous university studies may be exempt from submitting formal test evidence. See Exemptions.

In addition to the requirements described above, there may be specific entry requirements for the course or programme.These specific requirements are outlined in individual course or programme descriptions which can be found on the website of the university.
