Students who are citizens of a country within the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland are not required to pay application and tuition fees. Other students are generally required to pay application and tuition fees for degree studies at KTH.
Who is required to pay fees?
Citizens of a country outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland are required to pay application and tuition fees. There are however some exceptions to this general rule. Visit University Admissions in Sweden for more information.
Application fee
The application fee is SEK 900 per student.
Tuition fees
-Master's programmes in all subject areas except for those mentioned below is SEK 145,000 per academic year (60 ECTS credits)
-Master's programme in Architecture is SEK 245,000 per academic year (60 ECTS credits)
-Joint Master's programmes in Environmental Engineering, Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering, Maritime Engineering, Polymer Technology, Security and Mobile Computing, and Turbomachinery Aeromechanic University Training is SEK 145,000 per academic year (60 ECTS credits) for the year spent at KTH. Tuition fees for partner institutions differ.
-Joint Master’s programme in Molecular Techniques in Life Science is SEK 200,000 per academic year (60 ECTS credits)
-Bachelor's programmes in all subject areas except for architecture is SEK 115,000 per academic year (60 ECTS credits)
