The total Cost of Attendance (COA) includes estimated direct educational costs and an estimate of indirect costs based on full-time (9-credit) attendance for both fall and spring semesters. Graduate students who conduct full-time research or who are Graduate Assistants will have their COA figures adjusted appropriately, based on the information submitted via the Graduate Enrollment Information Form. These figures do not represent your actual fee bill but are estimates and are subject to change.
Students are billed separately for each semester, therefore, the annual amounts described below may be divided by two to attain estimates for a single semester.

* No housing costs are included in the estimated annual COA for Graduate students living at home and commuting to the Storrs Campus, though “Meal” estimates of $1,800 and “Miscellaneous” costs of $1,550 per year are included. Additionally transportation expenses are estimated at $1,500 for in-state students and $4,300 for out-of-state students.
