The Bachelor is the lowest academic degree and the first professional qualification with a duration of 6 to 8 semesters. Depending on the study course the academic degrees Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Education (BEd), or Bachelor of Science (BSc) will be awarded. Graduation with a Bachelor degree is the qualification to enter a profession or to study for a Master degree.
