Through this specialisation, you’ll acquire up-to-date knowledge of key industry trends and issues, and an understanding of the major operational, managerial and strategic areas of the hospitality industry.
The Bachelor of Business gives you options to tailor your learning to your specific needs. All students study a common first year which is complemented in second and third years by specialisations in either two business disciplines, or a single specialisation and an area of study.
You will also benefit from practical work-integrated learning allowing you to apply new skills in a real work environment.
You have the option of completing two Work Integrated Learning units (BBB3001Co-operative Education 1 and BBB3002 Co-operative Education 2) in substitution for BBB3100 Business Integrated Learning and one Elective Unit. This option extends the duration of the course to 4 years.
Students need to register online for Co-operative Education and be prepared to undertake the Work Integrated Learning/Co-operative Education Preparation Program in Year 2. Contact the Business Centre for Work Integrated Learning at the Footscray Park Campus for details.
