Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate their English language proficiency by achieving a score in a test such as Academic IELTS, TOEFL or Pearson (PTE Academic) - see table below. Other English language tests may be accepted as proof of English language proficiency.
Applicants who have successfully completed two years of full-time study in which the language of instruction was English may satisfy the English requirement.
Applicants who successfully complete an English language course packaged with a JCU degree in theUnion Institute of Language (UIL), or approved pathway provider, can gain direct entry to most JCU degrees. This will allow you to get a student visa for the total length of your studies in Australia.
