Introduction
The Master of Professional Accounting will provide you with training in the technical aspects of the preparation of accounting data; develop your skills in the application of accounting information to solving problems and making decisions; and develop your knowledge and skills in related professional disciplines such as finance, taxation, auditing and management.

Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—
(a) a bachelor's degree1, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; and
(i) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent; or
(ii) a valid Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score of at least 5502; or
(iii) at least five years of relevant, documented professional experience considered by UWA to be sufficient to permit satisfactory completion of the course;
or
(b)(i) a UWA graduate certificate which articulates with this course; and
(ii) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 65 per cent;
or
(c)(i) a Graduate Certificate in Business, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited course, as recognised by UWA; and
(ii) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 70 per cent.
1Applicants who have a bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting, or an equivalent qualification, are not eligible for admission.

Application Deadlines
While there are no strict application deadlines for the submission of international postgraduate coursework applications, prospective students are strongly encouraged to apply with sufficient time to allow for the processing of their application and to secure a student visa.
Postgraduate coursework applications generally take four weeks from receipt of an application to offer.
Fees
Annual fee: $36000.
For courses that are less than one year in duration, the annual fee listed is the total for the course. Unless otherwise indicated, for courses that are 18 months in duration, the annual fee is two-thirds of the total cost of the course.
