Standard full-time postgraduate fees (academic year 2016-17)
The majority of tuition fees for postgraduate programmes are charged at our standard rate, however many fees are non-standard so you will need to consult individual programme pages to confirm. If you are unsure if you will pay UK/EU or international fees, fee status provides further details.
Fees are confirmed in the Autumn for students starting in the following academic year and are subject to change each year.

The fee stated for a full-time Masters will usually be the total fee for a one-year programme. Fees for part-time and modular programmes (where available) are pro-rata.

The fees listed represent tuition fees for the majority of research degree students. You may be permitted to transfer to continuation status, benefitting from reduced fees, when at the 'writing up' stage of a PhD thesis. The continuation fee rate applies until submission of your thesis for examination.
