* An applicant who passes the entrance examination while on a short-term visa can obtain a Certificate of Eligibility from an Immigration Bureau in Japan, which must then be forwarded to the University before the deadline is noticed.

Fees can be paid up front (i.e. full payment at time of application) or in two installments. For installment payments, notification of the balance owing will be sent out in October 2014. Fees outlined above do not include ancillary expenses such as textbooks and off-campus excursions and activities.

Graduates from the Japanese Language Course at the Teikyo Study Abroad Center who successfully complete the international student entrance examination for admission to a Teikyo University faculty or the Teikyo University Junior College will be eligible for a reduced admission fee of ¥100,000.
