Today is May 1st, International Labor Day. My mother took me to my grandmother's house.
When I arrived at my grandmother's house, I saw the cherry tree in front of her house hanging with fiery red cherries, like red agates. I picked a few of the reddest cherries to eat. "Wow! It's so sweet!" My uncle saw me and said, "Let's go dig bamboo shoots!" I said, "Okay." My uncle and I walked towards the bamboo forest with a hoe, and when we reached the forest, I saw a very fat bamboo shoot from afar. I first dug one side of the bamboo shoot, then shoveled towards the side where it had been dug, and finally dug it out. Uncle dug a pit with two bamboo shoots inside, what a win-win situation!
I handed the dug bamboo shoots to my grandmother to burn. After dinner, I took a bite of bamboo shoots and said, "It's really delicious. The rewards of labor are really great!"

时光匆匆，日月如流水般飞逝。一转眼，五一国际劳动节便到来了。当年芝加哥的工人们举行了罢工活动。超过二十一万工人聚集起来，开展大规模罢工，争取实现八小时工作制。经过不懈努力，他们最终取得了胜利，为了纪念这次前所未有的工人运动。国际组织决定将每年五月一日定为劳动节。
今天是五一国际劳动节，爷爷依旧在田间忙碌地干着繁重的农活。我心中暗想：我自幼受宠，从未接触过农活。现在正好是五一，为什么不趁此机会学一学呢？
我刚说完，奶奶就耐心地告诉我：“宝贝，你要把田里的杂草除掉，但别把庄稼给除了！”我心想：“别多说了，我这就开始干。”过了一会儿，我扛起沉甸甸的锄头，仔细地清理那些杂乱的野草。
一开始，我干劲十足，清除了大片杂草，但野草除不尽，微风一吹又重生。这些小草仿佛拥有不死之身。我刚清理完，它们就又冒...
